Mollie (right) and Helen (left) are mother and daughter originally from Southhampton. Helen has now moved up to Shropshire while Mollie still loves down in Southhampton. Helens wedding dress has now been worn three times by  herself, one of her daughter's and her granddaughter most recently in 2018. The cotton dress first worn in 1956 has lasted for 62 years and has been altered numerous times to fit each brides aspirations. When Helen first wore the dress she had a high neck with long sleeves. Her daughter Dianne altered the dress to remove the sleeves and high neck to form a cowell neckline that she wore on her wedding day. However Emily Helens daughter, Mollies granddaughter put her own spin on the generation dress last year when she wore it with capped sleeves and a rounded neckline.

Kathryn and Natalie are also Mother and Daughter. Natalie has a beautiful story of how she found her dream wedding dress and how her Mother was there to guide her through the process and help her make the right decision. Kathryn got married in the early 80's and speaks about how her shorter wedding dress was not 'traditional' and had a 'unique' style to it. Natalie tried her wedding dress on 12 years later and was still as in love with it as when she first wore in in 2007.

Tracy has been married for 32 years and remembers her wedding day as if it was yesterday. Tracy also had her mothers input on her dress and opted to wear her dress on the shoulders to ensure her fathers approval of the dress in the late 80's. Tracy's sister Gail had the role of picking out the bridesmaid dresses for the wedding and she chose a peach colour to compliment Tracy's traditional 80's wedding dress. However if Tracy was to have her wedding day again she said she 'might' wear the same dress but would prefer to find her dream dress.
